The highly durable HD400 Series is exceptionally popular, with the 4-gallon (16-liter) HD400 being a standout model. This sprayer is equipped with an internal mechanical agitator that effectively maintains powdered chemicals like kaolin clay and organic insecticides in suspension, in addition to liquid chemical additives. It has been independently tested for over 1,500 continuous hours of operation without any breakdowns and can easily be converted for right-hand or left-hand operation. With just 6 handle pumps, it can achieve 45 psi, reducing operator fatigue significantly.

The HD400 features a convenient carry handle on the top of the tank, as well as a handle lock and spray lance lock for easy transportation between different job sites. The HD400 Blue variant includes a piston cup made from Santoprene® for a longer wear life and comes with deluxe straps, a stainless steel wand, and a weight of 8.1 lbs.

With its efficient design, the HD400 Blue sprayer only requires 6 pumps to reach pressures between 45 and 65 psi, making it suitable for both right and left-hand operations. Its paddle agitation system allows for easy handling of liquid and wettable powder herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides, including kaolin clay products like Surround.

In terms of operator safety, the inline piston pump inside the tank minimizes exposure to chemicals, featuring a Santoprene piston seal that has been tested for a service life exceeding 1,500 hours. The 4-gallon tank of the HD400 has a 4.1" opening, a deep strainer, molded carry handle, accurate volume markings, and the capacity to add chemicals without the need for premixing the entire solution.

Included with the HD400 is a 65" reinforced chemical resistant hose, a trigger valve with lock and strainer, a 22" stainless steel wand with nozzle filter, and an adjustable nozzle for comfortable and efficient spraying.
